(09/20/08) Coastal Cleanup

Gordon and Wendy Reed participated in the Coastal Cleanup on September 20, 2008. This event is sponsored by the Georgetown Conservation Commission and Gordon and Wendy volunteer every year to help cleanup Georgetown's coastline. For more information visit Coastal Cleanup.

(09/19/08) Refit work continues on Ocean Planet














With work completed on bottom refinishing, re-welding and re-fairing of the keel and bulb, we have moved on to refinishing the topsides. She will receive a beautiful new coat of “Luminous Yellow" Imron to offset her new white bottom. The reinstallation of the keel and bulb will follow shortly, during which time her huge freestanding carbon fiber mast will receive a new clear coat before being re-stepped.
