What a difference a day makes!Yesterday was beautiful, but today, we wake up to a little spring flurry. Oh well, it usually melts quickly this time of year. We're used to it. Tee hee.

(03/31/09) In like a Lion and out like a Lamb

Well, true to form March came in like a Lion and goes out like a Lamb. Lovely and sunny here today, light breeze, and if I do so say myself a bit chilly at 37 degrees. No No, I'm not complaining, we launch out first boat this week! Hooray!

(03/25/09) Maine Boatbuilders Show

Despite all that is going on around the world, this year's 22nd annual Maine Boatbuilders Show was actually quite successful, with attendance levels slightly above last year for the three day event. We had a great time visiting with old friends and customers, and enjoyed meeting some new ones, and enjoyed some interesting discussions about new projects. Spartan Marine sparked a lot of interest in their product, and the post show orders have been flowing in. Optimism was generally high with most exhibitors, and that’s just plain good news.

(03/19/09) Spartan goes Global!

Toplicht GmbH of Hamburg, a large distributor of marine goods throughout
Europe. Well done boys.

(03/16/09) Ok Ok yes, we are obsessed!

Ok Ok yes, we are obsessed with our dock project. We can't help it, it's exciting to see it go back together after a long cold winter of rebuilding. We do have 9 boats in the shops for various repairs and updgrades, but somehow this seems more interesting as we begin to feel spring in the air.
