(01/04/10) Greetings and Happy New Year

As many of you may have discovered we were closed last week. Between the short week and several of the crew taking time off it seemed like the sensible thing to do. While shut down we took the opportunity to replace our 25 year old primary air compressor. At a minimum it needed to be rebuilt but was located in a less than optimum spot in the shop. Our new one will be receiving a new, more sound and dust proof enclosure, which will be better for us (much less noise) and better for the compressor (much cleaner
environment).

(12/24/09) "Happy Holidays"

"T'was the night before Christmas and all through the yard, not a vessel was stirring, they're all on the hard. But wait, Here comes "Intuition" after her Fall spruce up. With new davits on her stern and Cetol on her toes, a new bigger horn and varnish for her brows. And I heard her exclaim, well actually sing, Merry Christmas to all, only 5 months 'til Spring!

(12/21/09) Winter Visitor

Although it is certainly quieter here in the winter, we do still have visitors to our docks!

(12/03/09) High Tide in the Old Town

Better bring your waders, tide was a little high today! The ramps were going uphill...to the floats that is!
