(04/05/10) Phase 2 roll out!

The second phase of the Island 40 project emerges from the shop. The 40' by 16' deck assembly rolled gently out into the yard on this beautiful Monday morning. Stay tuned for more on this later.

It may not feel like spring today, but it certainly is in the "air".

(03/22/10) Tessie Ann

Those of you who have been paying attention know by now that our secret "Island 40" project is public knowledge. After many months of hints and rumours the 'Tessie Ann' floating cottage made its debut at the Maine Boatbuilders Show this weekend. Well actually, the model did. With some hesitation we waited for peoples' reactions and are happy to report that the overwelming sentiment was "Wow, what a great idea!" Looks like ACV hit a home run again.

(03/19/10) HBX UNVEILED

Robinhood Marine Center is now building it's first "house float". Aptly named the "Island 40" it will be available for weekly rentals in season. Check here off and on for more information.

(03/18/10) Punxatawny Phil was wrong

I think that Punxatawny Phil was wrong, it was 60 here today on the 17th of March. Spring is early and that's ok with us. Start your Spring off right and come see us at the Maine Boatbuilders Show this weekend!
