(09/09/10) Another Homecoming!

Robinhood 36 number 1 returned home today. After spending her entire life in the fresh waters of Lake Ontario, she has returned to RMC to be sold. In impeccable condition, she is a great find for someone looking for a super clean yacht. Welcome back to Al and Fran Cruikshank's 'Legacy'.

(08/24/10) 'Puffin'

The beautiful 42' powerboat 'Puffin' made her annual visit to Robinhhod last week. Gordon's favorite powerboat, and certainly one of the prettiest ever built, she was built by Norman Hodgdon in Boothbay around 1960. Does Norman Hodgdon sound familiar? The first correct answer gets a Robinhood hat!

(08/12/10) HOMECOMING

In a sort of home coming ceremony, RMC welcomes back 'SusanJane' Cape Dory 30 Poweryacht # 1. Originally finished off, outfitted and commissioned here back in 1989, she returned today for a phased refit over the next two years. Welcome Back to Bill Kent her original and still, proud owner.

(08/02/10) Big Boats Little Boats

As summer rolls on, RMC works on a variety of interesting repair projects. From rebuilding the keel on a Herreshoff Doughdish to significant hull laminate replacement to a 52 foot ketch, we are always happy to take on any challenge. 'Owl' emerged from the paint shop with new hull paint, while Catrina got a new Raymarine wide screen plotter.

(07/02/10) And So It Begins

The Robinhood Marine Center peak season is upon us. It looks like perfect weather for the long weekend with the heat building toward the holiday. Later this afternoon Mel Tukey and the Clam Flat Five heat it up and start the season at the gazebo from 4 til 7. This photo taken by a famous former governor is of a calmer day, certainly not indicative of the BTU potential of this afternoon's breeze.
